Active Member Status is open to current Associate Artist Members of WAAM

A WAAM Associate Artist who wishes to attain Active Member status by applying online must submit 6 jpgs representing a body of work. Work will be reviewed by three jurors. Jurors are instructed to consider the competency of the artist applicants within the artist's chosen genre rather than making curatorial judgments based on personal taste. The process is not that of selecting an artist for a curated show but rather a professional evaluation that the artist is skilled at his or her way of making art. A collection of 6 original pieces that provide evidence of craftsmanship and artistic voice should be submitted online at this link: https://www.woodstockart.org/art-submission-calendar/.

The dates of application are April 3 – April 24, 2024. There will be a second round of applications September 11 - October 12, 2024.
